Runcorn: Sonic Residues
by My sister and I...
I’ve come to learn that the process in which place becomes body and body becomes a place is not a spontaneous act; it is built up in layers, over generations, filtering through, ceaselessly over time. In this sense, the body becomes an archive.
Through shared conversation, sound clips and field recordings, these soundscapes chart the economic, social, psychological, environmental and gendered atmospheres, through a crossroads of two parallel lives.
