Focusing on corporeal relationships, I create anthropomorphic spaces that the body encounters — spaces that carry a bodily quality, and that ask where their own boundaries and limits lie.
I work with membranes and tissues, interior and exterior, holding material states alongside emotional ones. I am interested in what sits above and below a surface, and in the porousness between body and environment: where one becomes permeable to the other, and what passes through.
Trauma sits here as something the body holds rather than describes. Alongside it are the visible conditions of the present, the hidden histories beneath them, and the speculative potentials they might still open onto.
What remains out of sight is as much the material of the work as what can be seen
